K.C. was born in our backyard on March 14th, 2000. Her mom was a stray who adopted our backyard and her daddy is a Maine Coon tomcat. K.C. looks like a Maine Coon, only she wieghs 8 pounds and is small even for a nornal sized cat.

Mama Cat had three previous litters before K.C., and we were determined that this one was to be the last. K.C. was taken to the vet to be fixed when she was 6 month old. She was to stay in the house (after getting her shots, too) until the stiches healed, and she never left. Mama Cat was trapped and taken to the vet to be fixed shortly after K.C. went in. Saddly, Mama Cat died last year. At least she knew some kindness from us.

K.C. pretty much ignores "the Boys", unless she wants something from them. She doesn't really meow, but rather makes a high pitched squeak.
