Simon was adopted from an animal rescue shelter in August 1995 when he was 2 months old. He is a black and white 'Tuxedo Cat' with large, expressive gold eyes. Simon loves to play. His favorite toy: the rings from gallons of milk.The goal:  get you to toss the ball across the room so he may chase it and bring it back to you. If a human is unavailable, say, asleep or something, he will play by himself.  This generally consists of placing the ball in interesting places like his water dish, on top of the bookshelf, on top of the answering machine, in the bed with us while were're asleep, etc.

Simon, however, is absolutely terrified of anyone 'new'. Going to the vet is a traumatic experience for him. He tries to make himself as small as possible, which is rather hard to do when you weigh 22 pounds and have shiny black fur!
